Outer Diameter D :150.00 mm
Width B :49.00 mm

33217 Tapered roller bearing have tapered inner and outer ring raceways as well as tapered rollers. They are designed to accommodate combined loads, i.e. simultaneously acting radial and axial loads. The projection lines of the raceways meet at a common point on the bearing axis to provide a true rolling action and therefore low frictional moments during operation.

33217 Tapered roller bearing are separable into a cone assembly and a cup. The non-separable cone assembly consists of the inner ring, the rollers, and a cage that retains & evenly spaces the rollers. The cup is simply the outer ring. Internal clearance is established during mounting by the axial position of the cone relative to the cup, although preloaded installations without clearance are common.

This rolling element are widely used in industrial applications.  They bearings effectively reduce friction and help transmit power in industries.  Below are some common industries where Taper roller bearings are widely used:

  • Agriculture
  • Automotive
  • Aerospace
  • Heavy truck
  • Cement
  • Railway
  • Oil and Gas
  • Construction
  • Gear Drives
  • Mining
  • Paper
  • Metals
  • Wind and Coal Power Generation

Bearing Features

  • Heavy Load
In general spherical roller bearings are designed to take heavy radial loads.  As well as heavy axial loads in both directions.
  • Enhanced operational reliability
Optimized surface finish on the contact surfaces of the rollers and raceways supports the formation of a hydrodynamic lubricant film.
  • Long Life
Here certainly rollers plays an important role in bearing life.  Both the inner raceways rollers are identical and in very tight tolerances.  Because of this equal load distribution it prevents stress and hence it increases working life.
  • Rigid bearing application
A single row tapered roller bearing is typically adjusted against a second tapered roller bearing. By applying a preload, a rigid bearing application can be achieved.
